Collaboration platform and working documents
When developing new scenarios, the process will be a collaborative project between you as academic staff and us at SimFredrikstad as superusers of the software.
We will create a folder for each project in our shared Teams workspace, “Immersive Maker Space”. This is where we will store documents, content materials, and the script/storyboard for the scenario. We believe it will be useful for everyone to be able to draw on experiences from other projects.
A script must be developed describing how the scenario will progress – what should be included, what should happen, and any text, images or videos to be used in hotspots, quizzes, and similar interactive elements. This is necessary for us to assist with the programming.
Before we begin, you must submit an application to develop your own content for the immersive room.
Application form to develop immersive content (NO)
Application options level 1-3.
Level 1: Background image/video for simulation

Recordings or images of another room or outdoor location, for example the Old Town, a classroom at a school (by prior agreement), a healthcare setting, etc.
Level 2: Simple interactive content
- Examples of simple interactive content include:
Team-based quizzes.
Shorter scenarios including, for example, a few videos and quizzes.
Level 3: Scenario with several interactive elements
- Examples include:
Scenarios with multiple scenes, different interactive elements, hotspots and actions.
These may require more extensive production of original content, such as video/audio recording and editing.
